So, a lot of my deatiling products I used last season were old and finally bit the dust, and I have a few cars (my familys, a friends, and a few paying gigs) that will need some work come spring.
I definitely need new pads and a backing plate, I was thinking about getting the Lake Country CCS Orange, White, Blue and Red pads. I like the way they look and review, the little cups that help reduce spatter, etc.
I also want to get a new compound set up. I have Megs #9 Swirl Remover and #2 Fine Cut ( I think). They work ok with my rotary, but I was hoping for something more efficient (and that doesn't stain black plastics at all). What I'm going to be removing is improper-washing swirls and light scratches from normal (and sometimes heavy) vehicle use.
I'll also be buying myself a foamgun (is one better than the other), one of these Sonus wash kits, and a new claybar.
Anyone have an suggestions?
