addicted to BF WD POLYMER SPRAY.

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
:D after using this product for a few months now, NOTHING COMES CLOSE for providing a glass like finish each and every time! one of the best products for maintaining that blackfire look. application never smears or streaks. and on glass it is amazing. too tempting to use after each wash. its only downfall.

I actually get a bit better result from Wolfgang spritz.....I'm a blackfire groupie but WG wins for me in this category...and you can find it on BOGO so it's half the cost of BF....

I'm with you on this one as well. Also the water beading (if you get a rain shower soon after application) is intense.
:bigups

my laziness factor has definitely incresed by using bfwdps. i think i can get by with one application of bfwd and nothing but bfwdps after that for a year. :rofl

If it rains soon after application, does it affect the cure time?

Yes and no.

Over 90% of it is cured as soon as you buff it off, so while if it gets wet right after application you are theoretically affecting performance, it is likely to such a small amount that you will never notice.

After an hour it is almost completely cured and fully cross-linked, there may be a couple percent that is lagging, but not enough to notice.

me too, this is really the only QD or Spray sealant/was I use now, IT has replaced all my spray waxes. I do a quick Waterless wash and then Polyermer spray.... then just stare at the car like the armor all commerical with Tony Stewart from 5 years ago....

Oh jeez, yet another BF wow product I "must" try. It's officially on my list for the next order. This forum is bad for my wallet's health. ;)

Just received the BF Poly Sealant and though my opinion is preliminary, seems that it glosses more on dark colors then light. Leaves a nice slick surface and to me seems more like a "spray wax/sealant" then a detail spray which is how I intend to use it now that I've tried it. IMO, more comparable to Optimum Spray Wax then FK 425 or OID.

Putting on my reviewers hat for a moment, did a side by side comparison on my hood last night between the BF Poly sealant and Pinnacle XMT spray wax. If I go by the crappy lighting in my garage and feel of the paint, I would pick the XMT. If you factor in cost, it's pretty much a no brainer. (especially since I got the XMT on BOGO) Don't know this for sure but thinking the XMT would last longer then the BF as well. Hey, if you're going to spend silly $ on a product, it's needs to be best in class and yield a discernible visual difference over similar products out there - otherwise it doesn't make sense. Heck, if I wanted to gloss it up the Meg Ultimate Spray Wax is terrific at half the price. Just saying...Final results this weekend. YMMV

After I have a clean car, I like to use this and then put a coat of QD with a Carnuba over the top of it. Shines like crazy. Great for car show prep.
