Addicted or just plain crazy

I've been a member of Auotpia for just over a year and I've learn more than I would have ever imagined. I've also purchased more detailing supplies than I would have ever imagined. If my wife ever finds out, well let's just say I'll be dead meat!

Has this hobby affected everyone like this? Or am I just a bit on the crazy side? Here is a photo of my collection of just Waxes and Sealants:

Heck, you're not even a normal Autopian yet! Take two aspirin and call us back when you have 2 or 3 times as many products...and don't forget the microfiber towels...
 
I got serious about 6 weeks ago...my collection is larger than that! I did have 3 different projects...one that involved two cars that had been sitting outside for a few years neglected so they needed DACP and so forth...2 good cars one I Zaino'd and one I Klasse'd and I have yet to do my DD.



Playing with different products is half the fun though isn't it?

Should mention that these are just the waxes. Here are the rest of the proudts excuding the 80 or so MF towels and the 20 or so gallon containers.

Your Crazy Man!



How do you like the One Grand Blitz Wax? I see the PBs car, what's that? Also what's that bottle on the far right? What's it like?
 
John the Glitz was has a pretty good wet look (I like PS, P21s and natty's better) and is very very durable. It's really a PIA to remove. The PB's car is the Natty wax and the blue bottle on the end is Waxing Frenzy, nothing special, not something I would use again. In fact it belongs in my other closet with the bottle of Blue Zymol.

Have you used the Prestone Wax ?

I saw one in a supermarket a few days ago. I managed to stop myself from buying it. The bottle was kind of cool looking.
 
kartoon, no I haven't used the Prestone yet. It was given to me by a friend for removing a light scratch on his SUV. I've been trying so many new products lately and just haven't had the time for it.

Isnt this horrible.... I also have a slight urge to buy that prestone wax.... just because of the bottle. lol! I know I probably wont like it that much (but I never know) and I have a ton of other stuff to use first..... yet I still have that urge to buy it. lol
