i could be a Hydrantist...and when you drop a mitt its a mittectomy...or...if you really know what your doing your a bucketmeister.....or buckets if you get picky about the 2 method...hehe.....

Hey guys,

This is my first thread post on this forum...I was wondering if any of you guys have used the Adam's In and Out Spray for engine dressing? If so what is the difference between that and the Adams VRT? Does it just get into tight spots better?

Hey bmc,
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the In-and-Out or VRT. I did see a video of the In and Out, and it looked very promising.

I would like to welcome you to TID, and I hope to see you around!

I just found that video, and ofcourse I had to buy it. I'll give it a shot and do a little review of it, if there are alot of adam's guys on this forum...

In and Out Spray is supposedly not very durable. VRT is tradtional trim dressing so more durable. I have not used either (just based upon threads read. In and Out is intended for engines, etc. I have ordered a can of the In and Out to try out.

In and Out is great to have on hand for a tight area which you cannot dress with a traditional liquid dressing. It does not last very long however.

VRT is a regular trim dressing which you wipe on and rub in until dry.

I really like using the In and Out spray in my engine bay. I mostly use it on my corvette which is a garage queen so it lasts pretty long. It is great getting into areas, like the fender coves on the corvette.

I have not tried the new Super VRT, which is supposed to be more water resist than the original formula of VRT, and it is still a water based dressing. Out of all the Adam's products the In and Out has to be one of my favorites to use.
