WOW! I should`ve done this YEARS ago! What a game changer!!! It`s been ridiculously hot as of late and I just melt while doing a job.

I installed a 1.5 ton TRANE mini-split system and...WOW, what a difference. I can now keep it at a pleasant 77 degrees with practically zero humidity while working. I had some insulation blown into the attic space above me to help with keeping the heat out and the cool in. My doors are insulated. This system will pull it down to 65 degrees in the heat of the day! (probably lower, I haven`t seen how cool it will go yet)

Anyway, what a relief and a huge help!

Has to be a game changer! Even in Ohio this time of year it`s miserable working in my garage. Especially working on interiors I feel like I`m doing more harm than good sweating all over the place. And extremely difficult to work with coatings in this heat/humidity. I`m definitely jealous!!

congrats!
I wish I could afford a nice one like that but I am totally happy with my second hand ac in my garage- sure makes a difference!

Sizzle Chest- Congrats, I bet you`ll continue to love it. I haven`t turned mine on yet this year, but just knowing that I can makes warm weather a non-issue.

My new detached garage just got finished being sheetrocked and insulated the Heatpump - A/C system should be finished and running this week. I lucked out with new construction an was able to do a full system with 4 outlets for heat and A/C it should move a lot air and give me quick even coverage.

EDIT: just read my post wow is it very self centered. Sizzle congrats as always your shop is top notch like your work. nothing better than control of your work space.
