Well, before we get started, I'd like to say that the specs on the paint after polishing/waxing are the blue flake in the paint reflecting off the sun. I could not get a good close-up of it, but it's not lint...I use microfibers :D .

So this Civic is a 1998 with 160k miles on it. It was garaged, but not really washed and NEVER protected. The process was:

Wash - Mother's Gold

Clay - Clay Majic

Rinse and Dry - Pakshak WW MF

Polished - SFP x 2 w/ LC White Polishing Pad on the Makita 9227c

Wax - S100

Dull, Swirled, and notice the bad scuffs where the "Civic" and "DX" were removed by the owner with a plastic spatulla :scared

considering the condition of the car...nice work...the condition of that car looks pretty much like mine...now i have something to shoot for ^^

Thumper: The rotary is my majic tool. I have done a lot of extensive research and am very confident with it now. It has earned itself back so many times over.

2000_EPB_civic: Hmm... :D My friend JUST bought the car and put those on. Nitto NT-555 Drag Radials on the front and Toyo FZ4's on the back. He is doing a B20 Block/Type R Head. He has a JRSC in his garage ready to go for it as well. It's definately gonna be a contender.

maharaja: Took me a little over 4 hours for the complete exterior. I took my time (nothing to do for the rest of the day) and didn't rush it, but if need be I could have gotten it done a little bit quicker.

People worry so much about using a rotary but like you've seen the results are night and day. Nothing to it once you get used to it.:)

interesting... CRVtec is a cool idea but why not get a GSR/ITR motor, sleve it and then slap on the JRSC? at least taht way when you sleve the block you can prep the bottom end for high boost?

This is true. Myself, I'm more of an all-motor guy, but this kid has researched this a bunch. He contemplated the idea of a K20 in there, but I think the install price might kill him. Who knows.

I will be detailing this car every couple months, so I will keep updates on the mods as I go.
