About to use PC/SSR for first time. What to do about clay residue?

I hope someone can reply fairly quickly. This is the first non-rainy weekend day in a while and I only have a couple more hours of light. I just finished claying, but there is horrible streaking from the clay. I tried rewashing twice, but without much result. If I start polishing with the PC and some Poorboys SSR2.5 for my swirls/scratches, will the residue (very thin amounts) some off on their own?

Fast answer...... yes, any clay residue should be removed by the SSR2.5. Let us know how it turns out.

I would suggest you use very limited pressure when you polish over any clay residue, as it's abrasive and may cause surface sratching, you may have to polish out with PP2.0

So far so good. I can't believe the scratches that are coming out! Very happy so far. Pray for a dry day tommorow, so I can continue my work. It's getting dark, so I'll have a better idea of my results in the morning.
