A Zaino'd RSX and a new duo for a Dakota

First up, the RSX. Detailed this for Autopian "rob007". This thing was in amazing shape with only 12k on the clock. The paint was smooth and glossy with light swirling throughout. He just wanted it buffed and sealed, nothing else. He supplied the Zaino. Final processes:

-FPII via rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm

-ZFX'd Z2 Pro

-Z8

-ZFX'd Z2 Pro

-Z8

Used about .25 oz per coat of Z2 Pro and about the same for Z8. The Z8 didn't add much initially, but Rob will probably chime in on results over a couple of days. The Z8 did remove any light hazing from Z2 and never streaked. All in all, this thing sparkled with Zaino...Pics will do the talking from here...

Dakota is next...

Did this Dakota about 9 months ago and surprisingly it still had light beading. The combo was VM/EX-P last time. I found this rather interesting as many had problems with durability and EX-P. Regardless, it needed cleaning pretty bad (no befores). The combo I used today is still in the works. I had amazing success with it and will update on durability as I will see this one rather reguarly. No interior shots as it was just dusty/sandy. Final processes on exterior:

-QEW

-Meguiars #66 Quick Detailer on rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm.

-After product worked in, I removed haze (spit shined) the 66 with OCW.

-PB Trim Restorer on plastic

-Meguiar's Hyper Dressing on tires and in wells (2.5:1)

The #66 buffs for a very long time and does a great job at it. In direct sunlight, there were no buffer marks and the 66 removed light to medium marring/swirling. The finish left after removed with OCW was noticeably deeper and wetter and VERY slick. I'm not sure how well the OCW will bond over 66 but time will tell.

Enjoy your day :).

Great work as usual - I'm really liking the 2nd & 4th shots of the Integra. I'd always thought Zaino was maybe a little sterile if that's the right word - those pics prove me totally wrong so I'm off to dine on a large slice of humble pie.

The car was in pretty good shape before but I was amazed at the results after Sean got rid of the swirls.

Check http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41992 to see pictures of my car (and swirls) from last year with the old Z5/Z2.

The car definitely looks great but Zaino is attracting an insane amount of dust. I haven't driven the car since Thursday when Sean polished it and it has collected so much dust just sitting in the garage. I'll make sure to take note if I see any difference in appearance when I next wash it.

AWESOME work as usual Sean!! :xyxthumbs I have used #66 for some time now for wash/wax packages...great product! It's rated at a #6 cut which is just as much as DACP and leaves a very glossy and VERY slick finish. :up

Sean: Both cars came out great :xyxthumbs

Hook an Autopian up and throw some tire shine on those tires :D

Too bad we have rain forcasted all week and weekend

Rob: I really like your car and color, i'm currently looking to buy an Acura RSX. That color is called eternal blue? It actually gives me second thoughts about the desert silver. What are your general thoughs on the car, trying to get as much info as possible. You can PM me if you want so we don't hi-jack Sean's thread. Thanks :xyxthumbs
