A well deserved detail!

I detailed one of my fellow club members ride. He did my brake job (I had the parts), I detailed his ride.

Was it needed alright. Since 2002, nothing done to it. Maybe a few car washes. I could see some oxidization starting... Lots of scratches etc. Good thing he helped me!

What we did...

Rinsed
Applied Poorboy's Bug Squash to needed places
Sprayed wheels with wheel cleaner.
Wash whole car
Clayed (whith so much freakin effort)
PB SSR3, Orange pad on really bad spots...
PB SSR2, White pad over most of the car until I ran out of SSR2.
Dressed tires and wheel wells
PB PwS, White pad all over
PB EX, black pad all over
Dressed trim with PB Trim Restorer.

It's really difficult to show the true detailing job with my camera but dang, the difference was out of this world. This guy never even QD'd his ride... I told him to maintain it with a good QD and he will! He totally freaked out with the results! He had no idea of the preperation and how it gives good result! I think I might have transformed someone to detailing!

hahahah, i was going to say a brake job isnt worth a full detail (like you provide)........ then again if you had to saw off the rust rotors maybe it was worth a full detail, nice job

Yes, with trial and error. Test different pads with different products and of course patience with a PC as it's really not agressive. A rotary will be my next purchase as this will cut my time in half... or close anyway!
