at my local dealer on Tuesday. They had 3 997's (GT Silver 997S, Seal Gray 997 and a Black 997S fully loaded) on the lot. The new look takes cues from the previous 993 (last of the air-cooled) and just totally modernizes it. If you are infatuated with Porsche 911 you will love the exterior design of this new car. The interior is also updated but does not look like the inside of a 993. I did not test drive it at this time but will after the hype wears off and before winter sets in. Also want to see live the new C6 Corvette and all its changes. Nothing like competition and the american dream.

I got to sit it a new Carrera and S the other day and I have to say they are pretty nice. The Carrera S was optioned pretty well and included the $8000 carbon brakes. Stickered for $101K :eek: Ouch! I guess my 993 will be safe in my stable for a while.:D
