So this is sort of a different kind of click and brag, I am going to post detailling pics later but for now can someone explain why my paint has gotten darker over the 1.5 years that I have owned my car. Obviously its the products I have been using but I am just curious. I personally like the darker, deep look but what do you all think??

Before when I first got the car:

i think the lighting difference between the two days and contrasting effect of having the windows tinted in the more recent pic makes the biggest difference...and not that the paint is darkening much itself.

Yea, it's just the lighting that makes the difference. It actually seems from the two pictures that the color is darker in the first picture :)

Also, your tinted windows, dressed tires, and chrome wheels change the appearance of the paint drastically.

Yeah it would seem that way from the pictures I showed, but it is different in person, and I know my eyes haven't changed, I will try to look for some pics of just paint panels to show.

Proper polishing and many LSPs will give the paint a deeper, darker appearance. Looks really good in the second pic. Very rich looking glow! :)

Agreed. I did an experiment on my Dad's car with a couple different products, and it was even noticed by my mother (who could really care less, and most of the time is oblivious when it comes to cars anyway).

I agree with the lighting thing, but the paint does look good in both shots though.

I would have to say with the tinted windows it really makes cars appear different. I constantly see other red Grand Prix's but compared to mine they seem like a whole different color.

Products used over the past year and a half have also have given your car an appearance different than ones without protection/oils.

By the way...Love the look of your car and what you have done to it.

LOL!!

dude, tC is a scion model, it doesnt stand for toyota corolla... i think you got confused when you chose your wheels...

Yeah they are tC wheels, but they are original Toyota factory alloys that have they exact same offset/bolt pattern plus they look good on the Corolla. I have had many tC owner's tell me that they look better on that car than the original.
