A re-introduction.

at K-Mart. Saw a big display of BIG bottles made up of 208 oz. (Yes! 208 oz.) jugs of Simonize shampoo - label said bubblegum smell - for $6.99. I was so impressed with the price I almost bought some. Then my bride reminded me of the gallon of MGC I had purchased at Target, two weeks ago. :nixweiss

So, my question: has anyone tried this Simonize shampoo? Is it Autopian quality? The real stuff (no jokes now, about real poo/ sham poo).:D

Try it and tell us all....do an experiment and post your results.:xyxthumbs

I have never used but I think I remember seeing it.

Been on here for a couple years now, but haven't posted much. Time to rectify that!

Last year I moved from Atlanta back to central Michigan to take a position at my dad's place in Clare. I miss being able to detail my car outside in January, but I couldn't pass the opportunity.

A couple weeks ago, I hard to make a hard decision. I traded in the old E-Class for a new(er) C-Class. Had about 292,500 miles on the old car and although it really looked great, it was starting to develop a lot of issues. Picked up a 2009 C350 with 25,000 on the clock. Loving the car. Can't wait to give it a really good going over.

Anyway, here's some pics of the two, and there'll be a few detailing posts coming shortly.

One chapter closes, another begins.

Thanks guys! I hope to give the C a total going-over this weekend if the weather holds. I've got pics of a couple cars in the family I've done that I need to post. There's also a black 993 Turbo that's sitting in dire need of some attention. That'll all be coming soon.

Sad to see the E go... the replacement is very nice!

Honestly, I still feel a little nauseous over letting it go. Felt like shooting Old Yeller because I saw some cute puppy. I loved the '96 and would have driven and fixed it indefinitely had it not been a Michigan car with some rust repair and a couple minor accidents in its past. So, the new car has some big shoes to fill. The old one owed me nothing and just kept giving. The new one...

Welcome back! That E is awesome looking. Thats the most miles I've ever seen on a Benz. Congrats for not being one of those people who can't bear to put more than 50k miles on their Benz. My hats off to you. That C is gonna be in good hands!
