As I write this a good friend to this forum is going under the knife :( his name is Randal and many of you know him from his posts and chat night.
Please say a :pray: for a complete and speedy recovery :thanks

My cousin 3 weeks ago went under the knife for a kidney transplant at 21. (bad genetics on the mothers side) Having a kidney removed is no joke and I wish your friend the best. Good part about it is that kidney removal/ transplant is now a very common surgery so they get them right 99% of the time. My prayers are with your friend. Also what hospital is he getting this done in? My cousin had his done in NYC at Presbyterian Transplant Institute.
