Got a lot here!

First is a 50th Anniversary Corvette I did last week, using Klasse AIO and Platinum UPP.

Here is a Z4 I did on Sunday. Obviously a new car, but it had some grit embedded in the paint. Clayed, light polish with Vanilla Moose, the finished it off with Klasse AIO and SG.

I did this Navigator on Monday. Initially, I was just going to go over it with Vanilla Moose since when I cleaned the owner's 740 last week he said he intended to trade the Navigator in after I detailed it. I get out to his house and he says since the mileage is low and the dealer only offered him $23,000 in trade, he decided to keep it. I ended up using Vanilla Moose and Poorboy's EX

Don't go away....I'm still resizing, compressing and uploading, more pics still to come! ;)

Ah, the Bentley. Detailed the whole thing this time. I thought I got lucky and found my Christmas tip stuffed betweeh the seats, but no such luck!

Cleaned the seats and carpeting using Woolite/water mixture. Really didn't need a whole lot though. Wiped down the wood trim with a damp mf towel. Treated the leather with that new Turtle Wax Leather Conditioner. Pretty decent product, soaks in real fast and leaves a light sheen and fresh leather scent.

I used Poorboy's PwC and Clearkote's Carnauba Moose Wax on the paint.

I also did and exterior detail on his Cadillac Escalade EXT. Poorboy's PwC and EX Sealant (since the EXT isn't as babied as the Bentley is. ;)

And finally, on to my own car, to which I added another layer of Platinum UPP (SFP, AIO, UPP x 2).

Would say the TW Leather product is a good replacement for Lexol?

Yes. It's cheaper, more readily available, smells nice, looks natural and is a thin enough liquid that it doesn't clog those little holes in ventilated seats.

Great, WET look on that Vette. WOW!!! Why not use that combo of Klasse AIO / Platinum UPP on all the vehicles? How do you choose? What makes you switch?

Thanks

WOW!

great work. The paint on all cars looks wet! Love the pics of the Vette and Lexus. Thanks for advice on leather cleaner. I will try the Turtle wax.

Scottwax,

Those cars are amazing. I've never seen detailing like that before. You are extremely talented. I wish you could detail my vehicles, nothing nice but I like clean. What did you use to clean up those dirty $20's. Did you have to launder them.

Can you give a description of the bottle and lable? Perhaps a pic? ;) I need to get something to use in the winter. Leatherique doesn't soak in when it's cold / cool outside.

ZGripT-I like the AIO/UPP combo, it's really glossy and slick, but it doesn't look as deep as carnauba combos. I may go with AIO/UPP on cars as an extra cost sealant option, although honestly, I like the look of Poorboy's PwC and EX just as much. AIO/UPP seems a more 'clear' combination, while PwC/EX darken the color slightly.

edschwab1-I think they are very similar in that they both leave the leather soft, non greasy with a nice scent and a very light sheen.

73GRAND-the guy who owns the Bentley owns several topless clubs, so I am sure he came by the money legally, seeing that his businesses are very cash heavy.

PAW-I found the TW leather conditioner at both Target and Pep Boys. I picked up a bottle when I was out of Tanners one day and now use it pretty much exclusively since it is so widely available. You can get it in both 'lotion' and 'spray' form as well. The bottle is a light creme color and clearly labeled.

GoodnClean-Yes, I am still new to Klasse and Platinum products. I prefer applying SG the Bill North way, worked very well on that Z4.

Again, I want to thanks edschwab for the samples!

As always, all of the cars look great Scott. You've been supplying the board with a lot of eye candy here lately. Lovin' it!!:xyxthumbs
