A new TMoore T-Shirt design...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
As you all know, my graphic design biz revolves around cars. Well, it's time for a new company T-shirt and I wanted something 'cool' that kind of says 'car culture' but not so directly...no car illustration on it this time.

I've been getting into a lot of custom culture and lowbrow art and I came up with this design which evolved from a sketch I did a while back. It's keeping with the whole pinstriping theme but in more of the new, trendy 'jagged' striping which is becoming more popular these days.

It'll be a 3 color job on the back of the "T"...dark gray, light gray (or maybe metallic silver) and dark blood red printed on a black shirt. I'm not sure if I'll put anything on the front or not...if so maybe just my TMoore signature.

Tell me what your thoughts are on this...would you wear it? Do you think it would go over well with 'car guys' and 'gals'?

Obviously I plan to post on several other car forums to get their feedback before I print them, but this is what I'm planning.

Your feedback would be much appreciated!

:thanks

I would wear that any day idk if it has to deal with cars but it dose show how good you are and looks sick. When can i get mine :D.

That looks awesome! I've always like the subtle company name on the left breast pocket area. Small font of choice with matching but contrasting color for the signature logo I think would offer presentation on both front and back.

Let me know if you'll make them available for sale. I'll take 10.

Excellent job once again...you work is pretty impressive.

I was curious what do you use to design or come up with these creations? Something like Photoshop CS?

Very cool! Do you plan on offering them to the public for sale?

Stephan... It's done with Adobe Illustrator. I think I remember reading somewhere version 10???

Thanks guys! Glad you all seem to like it.

Yes...I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my work. It's all done in vector (as opposed to raster...Photoshop) format to allow the most flexibility. I could blow this design up the size of the moon and not lose a single detail.

Also, yes, I do plan to sell them on my website once I get them printed. I'm not sure how many I'm ordering yet...it all depends on my pricing, but if I'm lucky and sell enough I want to do more.

My first shirt didn't go over like I had hoped...probably because I don't really advertise anywhere, but I ended up giving away most of them to friends and family anyway.

Thanks again for the comments...anyone else?

Do you sell posters or banners or anything like that? Would be cool to have some of your art work hanging in the garage/shop. I used to be a fan of Troy Lee's work in the 90's, seems like you have a similar style but more real talent. With all the car/detail forums, I bet the word wouldn't be too hard to spread to move some art.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I sent the art to the printer tonight. I have a girlfriend out in Cali who is getting me a pretty good deal on the printing through a place she used to work.

I can't wait to get them in a couple weeks!!

Just being honest here......it's okay, nothing special. No offence or put down intended but it does nothing for me. Kinda reminds me of things I scribbled in the 60's while, uh, under the influence.
