Well, it has been about 3 months since my truck had it's last full detail. The detail took 4 1/2 hours to complete.

My process is as follows:
1. Wash at car wash (under water restrictions)
2. Dried and wipe down with QD to remove water spots.
3. Waxed with "Beats Um All".
3. Wiped down door jams and under hood with QD.
4. Vacuumed and wiped down interior with Interior QD.
5. Cleaned windows and all chrome.
7. Wiped down engine with best dressed 3:1
6. Cleaned wheels and dressed wheel wells with best dressed 3:1.

Comments and/or questions welcomed.

Below are a few pics of my 05 Tundra D Cab. The first pic is to show the reflection and smoothness of the paint.

Hey, same truck as me...same color, too.

I've just gotten into the PC, and my poorboys stuff is ready to go as soon as I am. I have been pretty dissapointed in the paints ability to resist chips, but it's gonna happen I guess. I like the white, but this time of year the bugs are starting to come on strong, so EVERY night the front facing parts get a spray down.

Nice job on the truck. You are obviously a smart dude.

"Beats Um All" is a wax. I had never heard of it either until about 2 years ago. I have a friend that what he puts on his F150 Lighting. Here is the website, if you want to check them out. http://beatsumall.com/ From my experience it works pretty well. It has mild fillers in it to hide light scrathces and swirls in the paint.

Thanks for the comments. I am still trying different LSP's on the truck to see which one give it the best look to me.

I have the pleasure of taking care of two of these awsome trucks. My step-dad also has one just like mine except the interior is cloth and dark gray. You can see his in the reflection of the first pic that I posted.

That is a nice looking truck. It appears that you care for it well

I have to say that when I was looking at the back seat I saw a spot on the carpet. I decided to move the picture up a little so my bi focals would work better. It was then that I realized that the spot was on my screen and not the carpet. You have a very clean interior. Good job!!

I would go easy on the PC if your paint does not have the dealer installed swirls in it or swirls induced from other sources. My paint is in excellent shape, feels like silk and smooth as glass, as the dealer had instructions on what i would and would not accept from them. The truck only had 4 miles on it when I drove it off of the lot.

Thanks for the comment.
