I have my metallic grey 4Runner done with the following
DG 601 & 501 followed by 2x 111. I got some long awaited Megs #21 synthetic wax. Being the OCD detail fanatic that I am I topped with the Megs #21 with a PC finish pad.
Should I top it with anything else or just do a QD 425 or AW for maint. ?
Will the 21 take time to cure and darken ? It seems to lighten the paint compared to the DG stuff that was on there , but kind of a more clearer on the metallic look but not as reflective as before.
I did this because I noticed my truck was very shiny before , but under street lights I could see marring ( just general stuff from QD'ing ect...) The 21 say's it removes some marring ( i figure just fills them ) .
I just finished the truck , should I let this stuff (21) cure ? will it wetten and deepen ?
I did a WOWO test with #21 on my wifes black ford escape , it's totally deep and wet looking . Hit it with Megs UQD to wipe off residue. Looks wonderful. Maybe I should have polished off the DG with no7 or no9 on my 4R ??? I'm kinda puzzled . Ive heard this stuff is sup[posed to be excellent.
