I find it much easier, glossier and way less apt to spot.although the last time I gave my opinion it pissed off the finest people?

Mike your work is always impressive and top notch. I always open your posts knowing it going to be great work. Having spent some time behind the polisher and having experimented with waxes, sealants and coatings I know the prep and polishing are what matter most and the LSP can add something to the pop. I am most interested if you could start a thread on your car where you have the Gyeon product and keep us updated. You are the only one I see posting this product and normally I'd think it was snake oil or everyone would be talking about it. Because you are a solid citizen here I really want to know what you think of it today and over time.

I really like Opticoat (used 2.0) love the slickness of EXO. The only thing I am chasing is more durability with out a harder application. It this it, not sure we will know for a while but since you are Gyeon to me, please keep us posted.

Thank you for the kind words! I plan on doing my black challenger with plus this weekend,I will post some pictures of it as well as my wife's golf that has had mohs for 3 months and rarely washed.

If you ca. Swing an application video I would appreciate it. To me ease of application is high on the list right after looks, durability and slickness. Have you ever used EXO, it's my current favorite asm I wonder how it compares.

Looking great Mike.

I would love to talk to you some time about the Gyeon line as I am very interested and might be trying a few things very soon.

Mike,

I was looking at the Gyeon line and I am totally unfamiliar with their line. What is the top coating for paint (best durability and slickness?), same for trim and tires.

Thanks

As far as a video,I am not that tech savy. It is applied as most coatings are from a felt cloth on an applicator block. The trick I learned from Todd Cooperider is only let it set for 15 seconds as the bonding process starts immediately. Do not let it set more and be very sure that when you overlap you leave no high spots,as you will need to compound it off! Second coat after 1 hour unless you cure with a light. You then wipe with cure before releasing the vehicle. Cure helps in preventing spotting for the first week, but you spray on the towell not on the vehicle. By the way, cure comes with the coating, not separately.
The top of the line is MOHs plus, only for certified detailer's. But you would need to talk to Todd about that as is on the website. As for trim, the product called trim is by far the best. Tyre is for tires and is now the only one I use.nice Matt finish and very durable.
Please call me if I can be of more help as this is a product that is much easier and gives us better results than what we had before!

And again,thanks so much!
