A Designo SL500, S600, 325xi, and Sunset 350z *good week*

Great job! The cars look great, and I'm sure the owner was very excited to have them looking so great! Just a couple of questions for ya... I looked these up in the abbreviation guide, and couldn't find them. What is APC, and what is it good for? Also, what is Folex? I'd really like to know because it's obvious that you know what you're doing!

Ferrarislave: BMW paint is a bit harder yes. The Mercedes Ceramiclear does not swirl easier, I just think the local car washes use far too abrasive products/procedures.

Specialized_Det:

APC = All Purpose Cleaner

Folex is a OTC carpet cleaner available at Target or Lowe's. It is the most generic/no frills bottle I've ever seen yet its the best stuff on the market. :)

geeze you do some great work and your not that far from me either.. Maybe one day I can stop by to watch and help (and learn)..

Great JOB!!

Your work is always unbelievable and inspiring. If you ever get a chance you should write a book and fill it with your procedures and pictures of your work.

Thanks for sharing your work and giving us something to work toward.

nice sean. your my inspiration! just a question. i noticed that you had used the OCW after the FMJ. are you using the OCW was a topper to the FMJ, or just using it in other places where you didnt/couldnt get to with the FMJ?

I use it in the aid of removal of all my sealants. It is a pure sealant so it will bond to it and it also helps if I happen to miss any spots. OCW has proven itself in my arsenal.

What kind of rotary do you use? I love the PC but I think its time to up the anty a bit. After seeing these pictures I got real thirsty. That Z is dripping wet...

Wow, I missed this post.....

AMAZING!

The 6th shot looks like you attacked Chewbacca with your shop vac. Nasty!!!

What made you choose P085RD over FPII on the BMW? I’m just curious because P085RD is so damn expensive.

Fishpimp: Makita 9227C. Thank you.

John: I only brought PO85RD and Optimum. The swirls were almost nonexistent so I figured PO85RD would seal the deal just fine.

I missed this thread too. All are amazing machines, and you did a great job on them too! The Z is gorgeous, the SL500 is pure luxury mixed with power, and the 3 series is just a fun get-around car. My neighbor has a 325i, same color, same interior. That dark blue really shines when you slap a carnauba coat on it! Great job, Sean! :bigups

Speaking of luxury cars, I got my first look at the cars I'll be detailing at an auto body shop in the bay area. There was an 03 Carerra, a mid-90's 911 Turbo, a Ferarri 360 Challenge Stadalle, and a 63 Vette split window :naughty

Not that I'll be detailing cars like them every day, but it's an awesome feeling just knowing I get to work with these cars!
