A coupe of questions about the Edge 2000 for PC

I have a PC 7424 with the new quick connect adapter & I also purchased 3 pads from Dwayne, green, blue & white.

Now, I read alot about people using a blue or a white pad for basically everything, including swirl removal..my question is, shoudl I stick to just the blue & white pads for everything or should I keep using the green ones for swirl removal..I am using Poorboy's products & have SSR1 & 2 right now.

Also for you pro detailers out there, do you feel that the Edge 2000 system products are all you'll ever need? In other words, do you feel that you could get by everyday, in business, with just the Edge 2000 pads?

The reason I bring this up is because I love the whole simplicity of the system & if I could get by with purchasing one type of pad (Edge 2000), it would make things so much easier.(My cards & brochures are being made for my mobile business, which I am going to launch in the next 2 or 3 weeks)

One more thing, I currently do not have SSR 2.5, but I do have 1 & 2...is 2.5 way more abrasive than 2 or am I ok with just 1 & 2? The next order, I will definitly be getting some 2.5 though.

Sorry for the long post, thanks in advance.

I think you'll find over time which pad you use varies depending on the job at hand. As a rule you should start out with the least aggressive products and move up as you fit.

The Edge 2k system offeres so many different pads and combos ,yes IMO you could get by with just using them . That is until something new and improved comes out ;) Once you commit to the 2k system its a hassle (again IMO) to switch back and forth to the hook and loop backing plate.

You might want to think about picking up some SSR2.5 along with SSR3 for that heavier swirling and scratch removal . Good luck with your new venture.

BTW you might wanna pickup a yellow Edge pad just in case .:bigups
