First off, I'd like to state that I recieved these samples for free and wanted to give them a shot. I will be as objective as possible in my reviews. Also, I have tried most of these products on 3 different vehicles of different colors and textures, so I have a good feeling of how everything works. Furthermore, the temperature, lighting, and humidity was drastically different on all 3. So, here it goes...

2003 4Runner in pretty nice shape. I took forever on the interior because the owner is the type that if the interior is not showroom, don't bother doing the rest. I went with an APC cut 10:1 to clean everything then went with Turbo Wax's 3 Amigo's Dressing for the vinyl, rubber, plastic, and leather. This stuff has a strong scent of leather. It went on very easily and didn't streak at all with an MF applicator. The consistency is lotiony but I didn't have problems with perforations in the leather. The look is very matte, or a touch darker than OE. I was personally impressed with it on everything but the leather. The leather felt a bit squeaky, but still soft.

The doorjams were degreased with APC 6:1, rinsed and coated with the Turbo Wax's Last Minute Detailer. A very pleasant scent and easy application with an MF towel. The look added a bit of clarity and as far as I know contains no carnauba.

The exterior was in very nice shape. I washed with the Turbo Wax Car Shampoo which is a gel consistency and smells amazing. It suds up and was pretty slick but I felt I've used slicker washes out there. I then clayed with Optimum clay and spot polished with Optimum Polish.

From there I went to the Pre-Wax Paint Cleanser. This stuff smells great and has a lotion like consistency. It works GREAT on the rotary, even in direct sun. It felt like I was buffing motor oil, it was soo smooth. It came off with an easy swipe and left a slick, clear/wet look, ready for the sealant. Overall, the most impressive product of the bunch...Think of it like Klasse AIO. I did two complete cars on the rotary with only 2 ounces, including wheels.

I then went to the Paint Protection. A little goes a LONG way with this one. Lotion like consistency and pleasant scent. It feels very similar to UPP on the surface which is virtually frictionless when applying. Let haze for 15 minutes and wipe clean free of residue. The look has some carnauba to it, yet its a full sealant. I like the glow :). The feel is VERY VERY slick.

Onto the tires. After cleaning everything with APC cut 6:1, I used the Pre-Wax Cleanser and Sealant on the rims which added a nice glow and added protection. For the tires, I applied the gel with an Eagle One Tire Swipe. A little goes a LONG LONG way and soaks in real well. I went through an ounce for 2 cars and one truck...so 12 tires total. No sling on this one either. The only problem I had was with the lines on the tires (only some have), the gel gets a bit clogged in there so be sparing with the gel.

Couple shots of my underbody work. I APC'd it, then dressed with Hyper Dressing cut 3:1. I hate when these areas are neglected.

To conclude, I was happy with the Turbo Wax. I don't know if it all will have a place in my lineup, but I will be doing more testing with the Pre-Wax and sealant against my other products. Turbo Wax is a subsidiary of 4 Star Products so you have an idea of the quality/type of products they are.

Any questions, feel free :).

That has to be one of the wettest silver cars I've seen, and from a sealant to boot

I know it's too early to say, but is anyone else thinking WG with UPP durability? This is like a wet dream. Needless to say, I just ordered some. Damn I hope I'm not disappointed.

Anyway, great job on the detail. Imo you do a great job on interiors and places that are often overlooked like door jams and undercarriages and your wheel wells are always dressed.

Same here. Just amazing...but then when you mentioned Turbo Wax products are affiliated with 4*, I was not completely suprised. ;)

I purchased the Turbo Wax 4oz bottle kit from FiberWorks not too long ago.

I tried all 6 of the products and they worked great. The paint protection and the pre wax cleanser worked exceptionally well in my opinion. The tire gel is a little bit different from some others I have used in that it doesn't leave an extremely high gloss on the tires. In my opinion, it's just the right amount of shine.

Here are some pics I took during the day and at night.

Thanks :) The ones in the daylight obviously came out much better but the ones at night were a bit blurry when I had zoomed in too much. Not only is the reflection great but the car feels very smooth as well. I even noticed a lot of smoothness after claying and applying the pre-wax cleanser.

Nice to hear they worked out for someone else :).

I like the Tire Dressing more and more. It goes FOREVER and lasts a long time too. Oh yeah, no slinging :).

4+ Month Update

I cared for this vehicle again, a little over 4 months after the initial application. This sealant is VERY impressive. Slickness was very good, as was beading. The paint still looked excellent too. The owner washes bi-weekly with Griot's Wash and the occasional Speed Shine. The vehicle is garaged nightly.

No pics, sorry, as it was around 30* when I washed. I had to dry it before it froze.

Sean,

I have been interested by the TurboWax products for a little while, are there any tips/trick to applying anything?

I know the thread is ancient, but it's the only one I searched for thats worth a flip!!!:getdown
