...Dreaming on an E92....
Scored this detail last week and got to do the work today. The owner is the manager of a new car audio shop in town and was kind enough to test me and my friend with his personal rig. It's not completed as of yet, but there's lots of work to come. Tons of suspenion changes, performance goodies, and of coursde audio/video upgrades. He was estatic about the results, he said he hasn't had anyone else clean/dress the undercarraige as well as we did. We're going to get a lot of business from this guy, during good weather I'm hoping we can score close to $1200+ a month from their shop and from referrals.

Paint:
Wash
P&S Clay
P&S Ultracoat Polish via Edge Blue Wave pad @ 1500 RPM's
P&S Ultracoat Sealant X1 by hand
P&S Paint Gloss to remove smudges

Wheels/Tires/Chrome:
Simple Green 3:1 on tires, scrubbed with Megs Tire/Wheel brush
P&S Ultracoat Sealant by hand on chrome/wheels
P&S Wipe N Shine on Tires

Undercarraige/Wheel Wells:
Wheels washed w/ wash mitts and soapy water
Simple Green 3:1, scrubbed with Megs Brush
P&S Multi-Dress in wells
P&S Shine-All for whole undercarraige

Misc:

IG on Windows

I know there's more things we did, but I can't remember them off hand...

8 15" subs will enter the rear of the truck, new rear speakers, and plenty more goodies will be placed in this rig. After the truck is completed we'll return for another full detail and we'll be undercoating everything we can.

The whole rig looks 'show ready'.

What's P&S?
P&S is just like any other company out there, but from what I know they're more of a West Coast thing. Their Wipe N Shine is by far my favorite tire dressing of any kind, I've never found any evidence of sling on any vehicle with this stuff. And the best part is that one good coat leaves any tire looking WET. I've tired more or less every product that my local distributor carries, not every product is top-notch but I can't say anything negative about anything either.

The clay is actually labeled under Golden Gate North (Distributor here in town), I'm not sure ho makes their clay but I really like how easy it is to work with. Spray N Shine is under their name and is made by Sprayaway, it comes out thinner than Trim Shine and makes less of a mess. If you want more info on their products feel free to ask me or any other members on here who use their products or visit www.pssales.com

A ladder? I think you'd need a scaffolding system (LOL).

Did you say "8 15" subs"? Jeezus, that thing has more power than my grandmothers hearing aid! Slide in some Kid Rock and I'll let you know how it sounds on the East Coast.

Great job on the detail! It looks very clean top-to-bottom.

Man, looking at the interior dash picture made me dream about that last night. Its been awhile since I have seen such a nice clean install..

Ditto, that interior has the beginnings of greatness peeking out. :)

I LOVE the use of he big LCD. Looks right at home there. If that wer emy car, I'd integrate a computer in there too, with a cellular broadband connection so there is always an interent connection etc:)

Nice work Dolan I've seen this rig about the county

For those that don't know Dolan and I have meet at our local detail supplier...we are blessed with a real good one that carries everything that you would need for detailing...chemicals, equipment, all accessories you name it

I brought a ladder, but it was more for getting to the tops of the tires. I was able to stand on the front tires to buff the hood and my friend had no trouble getting the top. The only thing that was hard for me to reach were the a-pillars and the tops of the doors. I'm 5'3" short so ladders come in handy for me all the time :D
