I don't know what it is about black cars, but I just can't seem to get enough of them. A guy at my old job referred me to to a buddy of his who was looking for someone to detail his 99 SC300. In any case, I went out to see it today to give him an estimate and of course, it's black. When I pulled up the front end had pretty noticeable buffer swirls, a dead giveaway of the repainted portion of the car. When he came out, we were talking about the car and I asked what part of the car had been repainted, he said "take a look at it and you tell me." I guessed he was testing me to see how good my eye was so I said "it looks like it was the front end." He was impressed.

The front end is pretty much just covered with buffer trails, the back end of the car is swirl city, the bumper so much that you can't even see a reflection on the top, flat surface of it. It's not as heavy as I've seen before but there's plenty.

Is the CC on these relatively soft or should I pack a lunch and prepare to be there for a while?

I guess the good thing about it is the lack of heavy swirls on the front clip, so I'll just pack a lunch, expect the worst and hope for the best.
