Well after a long winter of waiting, I finally got my car back out. Lot's of micromarring and hazing from my lack of knowledge for good washing techniques. I spent 6 hours on Sunday night working on it, and got it perfect (in my eyes)

Process was:

Wash with Gold Class

Cleaned wheel wells with wash and dressed with Bold N' Bright

Tires Dressed with Insane Tire Spray

Windows have quickshine on them

Paint:

Finishing Pad with Meguiars #80 to remove hazing/micromarring via pc

RMG/Poorboys EX mix applied with foam applicator

Waxed with Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax (Stupid me, I meant to get the NXT :( )

Wipedown with Meguiars #34 done today

Foamgun should arrive tomorrow!! Wooo! Sorry for so many pictures, after frustration with the hazing/micromarring I am so glad I finally removed it!

Two before pictures...Only ones that showed the defects I was trying to remove

Afters taken today, didn't want to play any tricks so I made sure the sun was present :grinno:

Interior Shot: Nothing much to look at...I know it looks like there is a tear on the driver seat...but it isn't...not sure what was on it when I took the picture

#80 with a finishing pad-interesting. I've only used #80 with polishing pads. Looks like it worked on that micromarring with a finishing pad though. :)

The finish looks very wet!

I tried a lot of combinations before turning to the finishing pad...but I have no idea how many times I am safe to use it w/o doing harm. (Every other month if needed?) Anyone have an idea of how abrasive this combo is?

Lee, I am ordering Natty's Blue next week and can't wait to try it out! I plan on playing around with my foamgun tomorrow :)

Thank you, and it took me about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to polish it out using the finishing pad. I went real slow because I wanted to make sure I removed all the hazing and micromarring. Im hoping eventually someone can jump in here and tell us more about how mild they think this combo is. I know that the bite of #80 depends on the pad choice kind of like optimum products. I dont tend to get swirls in my paint, only mircomarring and hazing from bad wash techniques (which hopefully have been fixed/minimized due to my foamgun purchase) so I hope I can just maintain my car with this combo twice a year if needed
