The owner of this Camaro contacted me after having his car repainted recently and requested a full wetsand and correction. He drove it up to the Bay Area (several hours) and left it with me for about two weeks while I did my thing to really bring out the potential of this car. When I saw it, it was totally lacking in any clarity to the paint and had horrific swirls and holograms from the body shop, along with tons of compound left in nearly ever crevice on the car. I had my work cut out for me.... It was intended as a one week job but turned into two weeks when I saw just how much needed to be done.

Here are the pics he sent me before driving up:

One of my favorite turnarounds in a long time. If I was the owner of that car, I'd take it home, sit on a lawnchair in the garage, and just stare at it for a few hours.

Amazing job.

Looking really good! Lots of work, but it paid off in those reflections! I hope the owner "paid off" as well ;) Good work!

stellar workmanship!

Please tell me you charged accordingly, I hate to see all that fine outcome done for pennies on the dollar. I think too many good detailers sell themselves short.

cheers,

greg

Thanks guys! Owner was absolutely thrilled with it. Both the owner and I were happy with the cost involved. Definitely worth it for both parties. I believe the body shop covered a portion of the job...they just about freaked when they heard the estimate for fixing it. They couldn't imagine how it could be more than 200-300, but then again look at the quality work I had to start with *yikes*.

Oh and yes, thats the 68 Camaro Prostreet teaser sitting in the garage. Its done now and writeup will be coming soon. :)
