Hey guys, this beast of a car came to me through someone on a local car forum. A few weeks ago I met with the owner to discuss options for some work on his car. He wanted it prepped for a car show in southern CA in Feb. The car was in pretty good shape, so we decided on a 1-2 stage correction for the exterior only for moment. Later in the year the car will be dropped off again for some major work to find every single imperfection and work it until 100% perfect, likely to be a several day project. However for now it was just a light correction and prep for the show.

This car is an absolute beast. Its still a stock bottom end, but that’s it. Everything else has been modified. On pump gas makes over 600rwhp, and on 104 octane making over 700rwhp on very low boost and super conservative tune. An amazing clutch and crazy suspension setup too. Guages to monitor everything and a stereo big enough to shatter your bones! A Brembo big brake kit behind the nice wheels and a Top Secret carbon fiber hood, front bumper, side skirts, and rear diffuser. Needless to say, a LOT of work has gone into this Supra.

A previous detailer/bodyshop burned through the paint on the door handle. To prevent any further damage they were completely taped off. Also rear marker lights were burned (likely by the same person) and owner bought new ones to replace them once the car got home.

Nice job, looks terrific. Got a '98 Supra coming up next week myself.

But seriously, 100+ pictures? I have a 16 mb/sec connection and you damn near choked it. :nervous2:

Thanks Scott.

Haha, I couldn't stop taking pics. I really liked this car! I know I'm not the only one posting a lot of pics on here too! LOL.:chuckle:

Dual Turbo's = FTW!!!!

I'm starting to fall into the tuner scene even more, and although this is a cool car, I've seen a little EP3 Civic SI hatch that will blow it's doors off...

But the detail looks great, how'd you like working on that CF hood? I hate the crap personally, just don't think it polishes up that great. Or well the VIS or Seibon stuff doesn't anyways.

Thanks! I love working on CF. Though you can never have the same clarity (when its super thin that is, and the weave has texture to it), it can polish up nicely. He was very happy with the CF parts. I wish I could have done more with them, but they were soooo thin it wasn't worth risking it.

Looks amazing. Looks like you went for the full correction after all.

Thanks. But really there was a lot more I could do. The owner has an eye for imperfections like some of the best detailers on here. So he sees every single scratch. Its gonna be fun to hunt them all down and eliminate them! :) So later this year, round 2 begins ;)

wow man! AMAZING! Toyota Supra's have always been a favorite of mine. I would love to own one some day just like that. That color is excellent and you made it look top notch!

I would have filled up my camera stick with pics just like you did. It's to bad we don't have cars like that over here. Simply amazing man, simply amazing!
