I am so tired of doing repainted cars. The whole car was repainted except for the front bumper, and back bumper. Hence the pic I took with the flake of the front and the cracks in the paint in the back bumper. The painting job wasn't very good. A lot of orange peel was left all over the hood; and also down the whole middle of the car:wall

Washed with Poorboy's SSS

Clayed with Claymagic Blue

Wheels/Wells sprayed down with Mequiars Wheel Cleaner

FPII via makita (2nd time using) @ ~1500rpms then back down to 800rpm to burnish out

Last Step Protection with Acrylic Jett Trigger by Jeff Werkstatt

Tires dressed with Mequiars Tire Gel

Wheel Wells dressed with No Touch Tire Spray

Windows cleaned with Invisible Glass

Trim was 50/50 IPA/Water wipe downed. Owner didn't want it dressed. He had "something" for it.

Vinyl, and leather was cleaned and dressed with 303 Protectant.

Wood Grain got xmt 360

= ~6.5hrs

Sorry for the befores. I had to take them at night with no garage and with a Kodak Camera.:wall

This pic shows the flake that would've been in the rest of the car if it wasn't repainted!

Just saw your post now and great job on the sebring! i see you pick up fast on that rotary! :wow:............P.S. tell your neighbor to paint the house!

I think you did better than a good job, especially for your first time with a rotary. Hell, it was a lot better than MY first time with a rotary!

Thank ya guys for the kind words. I have a Durango to do next weekend. Should be even better since it's not repainted! Then I can go for 95%+ correction. On these repainted ones I get a little scared going to far.

BTW, That house gets rented out like the next girl on the corner! No one ever takes care of it when they move in. I've tried calling the land lord in Florida. No return of course. No one lives in it right now. :bat

Yeah IMHO, rotary wasn't hard to catch on to... That's prolly from reading on here all day :):help: Only being 19 and have learned so much and so much more to learn.:LOLOL

You definitely did better than a good job. You did a great job and plus that was your first one with rotary. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for the kind words guys! It truly does mean a lot!:woot2:

I can't wait to get this durango next weekend! Because it is factory paint and just has really bad brush car wash swirls. Other than that the car looks good.

neighborhood is about 20 years old. And a lot of the houses have the garages in the back yard. Unfortunately we don't have anything. :( Plan on moving soon, so i'm not looking into building anything else.

But hey, it's a home, it keeps my business going, so all in all I'm happy. :woot2:
