97 Peterbuilt

Hey gang. Just a little of what i've been doing all winter. Thank God it wasn't that bad weather wise around here.
The truck is a 97 Peterbuilt. I think it has Half a million miles or so on it. He drives between 800 & 1500 miles a week!
I used Ardex's Hard at it compound & Smart Cut compounds, Optium polish, Ardex's Pearl polish and there stero glaze #2, For an Lsp I used there Flint Glaze wax. Owner wanted some life put back in the paint and to last a while longer. Can't imagine what it would cost to paint one of these things.

Thanks guys. Yes it is alot of truck and work. I enjoy it tho. The hood had burned thru so I stopped compounding. I'm gonna try to sand out the area and clear coat it. See if will last longer. Man I'm glad i brought a pad washer. Owner was impressed with how it came out. He didn't think is was going to.

Good job. Theres a ton of real estate on one of those. Hope you got paid well for that one because those arent easy to do. Interesting to see someone using Ardex products. Their Gold Supreme sealant is one of my all time favs.

Thanks Mr and steve. I like there gold supreme too. Just have to get some. Trying to use up what i got. I have about 17 hours or so on this one. I break it up into parts when I do them. The hood took about 7 hrs alone. Lots of compounding. Arms feel like rubber when I'm done.:bigups
