Ok, I went mud driving yesterday, and I got it really dirty. Decieded to go out and get some scratch x and some more cleaner wax ( I'm not doing a full detailng today). I got everything done, and protected. Looks pretty good for VERY mistreated paint.

But one thing I couldn't solve with the scratch x was this. I know that I will have to try something better. My parents had thier door hinges redone on the blazer, and the people ****ed up the door, so they had to re-paint it. Lo-and-behold, they put the ******** paint they could on it.

Notice the shine difference.

Please let me know what you think.

THanks alot.

I had the same problem on my car when I had a few panels resprayed. I think it's the effect of compounding from the bodyshop which leaves the paint cloudy looking. I used Autoglym Paint Renovator and then Autoglym Super Resin Polish and they got rid of the cloudiness.

I probably should have tried the Super Resin first (less harsh) but I was feeling impatient.

Give it a go, if you can't get AG try AIO instead, I heard it's similiar to AG.
