not really a detail, but a well needed cleaning...

my year-round daily driver, 30k+ miles a year.

gliptone wash/soap,

claybar'ed (1st time, pleased w/ the results),

1 coat Collinite super-double-coat,

1 coat Collinite marque de elegance...

prior to washing the paint was a grimy as the inside of the fenderwells...

Awww reminds me when I first drove a '94 Tang to NYC in 1995 right after Ford did the 30th anniversary redesign.

Very nice pony you have !

WOW! I'm surprised that Collinite gave such a deep shine... I'm impressed. I usually don't get that kind of depth from my Collinite 476S...

I tried the wash/claybar, then only the marque de elegance on my impreza, and wasn't impressed at all.

After doing the mustang I went back to the impreza and did a layer of superdouble followed by the marque de elegance (same as on the mustang), and got the same deep look...

not like it matters, the resurfacing of the LIE near the mineola exit will tarnish it in no time, haha! (I'm also from long island).
