I just got my 80 and 16 in and i needed to try them out. Here are the results.

this last pic is a "in process" pic. left side is unpolished, while the right side is.



sorry the after pics suck, it was getting dark. hopefully i can grab some tomorrow.



Overall, i am really glad i got the 80. it works great. as far as 16 goes, i want to see it in the day light and see how long it lasts.

It looks great right now, would love to see pictures of the entire car once you can though. I have a friend who just got an '89 maxima, its in similar shape, but after some stuff by hand on his hood, it has a lot of potential, good job.
 
UnsanePyro- thanks for the compliments. i really wanted to get some better pics but it jsut wasn't in the cards today. hopefully tomorrow.

92MX83- yeah, i would miss a 86 corolla if i had one too. those things are fun!

Those are some great before and after shots! Nice work too, blue looks so good polished out, right up there with red and black!



You probably doubled the value of that car with the detail! :up
 
Looks like completely different paint!



What speeds/pads did you buff with?



Why is the girl sitting in the car reading the newspaper :lol?

sean- i used the Edge pads with my rotary. i tried using the polishing pad first and it seemed as though it was polishing the 80 instead of the 80 polishing the car (if that makes sense, like it coudln't break it down enough) so i switched to the light green light cut pad. i was spinning about 3, so 1500 rpms or so.



haha, and she is sittin readin the paper because i was like "hold on a sec, the sun is good here, let me get a couple shots haha"

i will try;) the car is parked really far away but hopefully i will be doing my car soon again, so i will take some more pics of that when i do mine.

yeah, they were pissin me off. i kept seein them around campus, so i finally just grabbed some, took them behind the building, and took care of them;). those bastards!

that is amazing how well you brought out the color in that car. great job man, get us some pictures of the entire car when u can.
