I know quite a few people have this problem. Maybe some of you have seen this on your customers' cars.



Honda has extended the warranty for the paint on the hood and front fenders to 7 years. The TSB says it applies to black and blue color only. I have gray and mine is cracking. I'm going to see what they can do.

worked on a friends 08 civic over a year ago and had a problem with crows feet all over the hood. good to see honda is correcting the problem.

It's about time they're stepping up and handling this.... I have been seeing it for YEARS even on prior generation vehicles back to the late 90s.

yeah got the letter telling me about the extended warranty and decided to bring my car to Nelson Honda in El Monte, CA. They preferred me to Fix Auto El Monte Body Shop, and i got my roof and hood painted due to sun spots and cracking. The work was excellent! Best part about it was that Nelson Honda paid for it all haha
