Here's today's detail...

There were terrible swirls in the paint from the automatic car wash, but the owner told me not to bother with the swirls. I was glad to hear that, since I didn't have my rotary yet. Now I DO have it, but I don't have any practice with it yet.

Any befores? She looks good. How long did it take with no polishing?
 
I didn't take any before pictures. The car has never been waxed before, and has been kept outside every day for at least the last 4 years.



It took me 4.5 hours to do the exterior and a quick job on the interior. I had to go slow with any towels, clay, or applicators near any rust spots, to make sure I didn't pull any paint off or contaminate my materials with rust particles.
 
That paint looks far better than my girlfriend's parents Volvo. 1998 with chips and gashes everywhere.



Regardless of anything, that looks great :).
