'88 930S with DWG and 845

Thanks to this board I always seem to learn something. I had been using 845 and then 425 for QD work on my garage queen. I was happy and spent some time on other interests. A couple of weeks back I figured I'd check in and see what was new. I was looking for a bit more wetness. After some reading I figured I'd give DWG and Hot Rod QD a try. So this afternoon I put down some DWG over the 845 that had been on for a little while and then topped with another coat of 845 and finished with a wipe of Hot Rod. I'm happy. A definite improvement that even the wife noticed..

And is that a creme 912 or 911? We used to have the last 912 imported into the States. It was never proven, but everyone who sees the car says it was.

I'm Spacecoast. The '73 in the background is a 911T.

Here is the threesome with the wifes '96 993.

I'm pretty lucky to have these three in the garage....but I don't let it go to my head. Just one look on the 6speedonline forum sees to that.....

Did the 993 this morning with the same method. I think I'll stick with this for a while. I looked over the headlights carefully and don't think they look as yellow in person as that picture appeared. Could be that the lights in the garage added to the illusion.
