65 vette

A friend of mines grandmother has a blue 65 vette that hasn't been driven or even seen daylight since her husband died. We're talking YEARS here guys. It's in pretty rough shape from just sitting. This is way beyond my detailing abilities. Is there anyone in Alabama or the southeast that would touch it? It was appraised at 40K as is.

Sounds like a fun job to me...things that you might want to find out are

is the car movable on its own or trailer only, sounds like its not been registered so driving it might be an issue...if its not been started for a while that presents a whole different level of work, before detailing can start...or maybe they just want to get it cleaned up and presentable for sale as is...I've done a few like that.

As far as the condition of the car..lots of dirt, cob webs and such not a big deal to clean up...

Really the bottom line here is what are they looking to accomplish?

I'd be really interested in working on it, but traveling is going to be an issue with the little one around and all. :)

I would be interested in buying it too; :D
