A comment made in another thread got me to thinking about using 4" pads for the few times a PC seems to take forever to correct a problem.
It seems like rather than buy a Flex or learn to use a rotary, buying a 3.5" backing plate and a couple of 4" pads might be worth checking into.
So....
How about some comments from those of you that have used 4" pads with the PC?
Maybe even some comments about results from using 5.5" pads with the PC.
I have some 5.5" pads that I have not yet used this winter and if they do correction quicker than the 6.5" pads, (and it seems like they should), that would be a solution without spending any more of my kids' inheritance. :notme:

Reply by blkyukon:It has already been posted elsewhere that it is possible to polish off enough paint to cause a real problem.
So, if the 4" pad/PC combo can do damage rather quickly, it stands to reason that the same combination should do some correction rather quickly. Compared to the PC and 6" pads, at least.blkyukon said:Yes it can, but so can a PC...a PC with a 4" pads can do damage rather quickly also.
