3M Fine-Cut Rubbing Compound vs. DACP

Just for the sake of agressiveness, which one is more agressive? I'm currently using 3MRC and I'm thinking of picking up some DACP.

From my experiance last night ( first time using PC ) 3MRC is more aggressive than DACP. I tried to remove water spots from my hood last night . Used DACP twice and did not remove spots. 3MRC removed the water spots then I used DACP , then 3M SMR, followed 3M hand glaze, protected by

MGC wax. WOW I'm going to use the PC alot.

I was just under the impression that DACP had the same abrasiveness as 3MRC since a lot of people use it for paint cleaning. I've been using for years and recently with a PC and and getting the intended results, but I'm tired of all the dust it creates. Is that a characteristic of all rubbing compounds or is it just 3M?

3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound does dust a lot. I find DACP also dusts a lot but not as much as FCRC. Try 3M Perfect it III Rubbing Compound. I dont get any dust from this and it gives a great finish. Works great by hand to. It is a little more abrasive than DACP.

I have found the 3M Fine Cut to be a few notches more abrasive than DACP. I have had 3M FCRC remove some imperfections that DACP didn't touch after 2 passes.
