3M Fill in Glaze?

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
I saw this on a BMW site...guy was stating that its the best wax he has ever used....little did he know its not a wax....I looked it up the product and it looks like something that I would like to have as a glaze...With my jet black BMW removing all the swirls is close to impossible..currently I am using FK1 pink hand glaze as a filler between the polish and LSP...I'm thinking this might be a better solution.

Trust me I don't care to fill in swirls but when you can't get them all out this is a good solution.

What are your thoughts on this product?

3M CHIM Partner Support Site : 3M™ Fill 'N Glaze 05977, Quart, 12 per case, Obsolete

I have never tried it. I used to use their Imperial Hand glaze but have not found it anymore.

After the description of the product on their site it says Obsolete? Not being made anymore?

I currently use Presta Glaze and the Pinnacle Glaze, and they seem to do a decent job, although like the Presta Polish and Light Cutting Creme I find it difficult to remove.

one of the best fill in glazes that really works and lasts is a product called Product-X by blue coral....not cheap but works ....and hard to find also...need to get from a commerical car wash supplier....

Out of topic, how does Product X perform against RMG?

product x does have a little cutting to it..what it does not get rid of fills it...I got a small sample of it a while back..and it worked nice....and lasted more than the say oily types...

Shabybreal on here has been using it for a few weeks now and really likes it....I am going to trade some products for some....either by machine or hand it does well....it has great reviews on a lot of the forums...a lot preferred it over RMG for sealant compatibility...

Sounds promising, be right back............................................................off to hide my cc first before checking more on this ProdX:lol2:

I have a bottle of the 3M fill & Glaze that I have had for years.
It is pink in color and I carry it with me to every show.
I rarely need it but last summer I went to a car show out of state and my car got very dirty and when I cleaned it at the show site I put some minor scratches on the rear deck.
The car is Black and so it really showed and I did not have time or the products needed to remove them.
After I got the car detailed I went back over the deck with the fill & glaze and Wahla the swirls were gone.
I did not feel guilty when I won I know others would have done the same thing. :rofl
Years ago this was what a lot of show guy's used all the time and NO LSP they just applied this at every show it left the car looking awesome.
No durability but for the show car crowd it was perfect.
The 3M hand glaze is good but it is much harder to use fill and glaze is entirely a different product. Sorry to see that they quite selling it.
