3D Towel Kleen

Anyone use it ?. I have been using Micro-Restore and 3D is sold at a lower cost so I am interested to know if the cleaning is comparable.

Been using it for 2 years now and just ordered another gallon. Excellent cleaning ability and the towels seem to get cleaner and softer with each wash. Very little needed per load (about 1.5 oz) for a meadium load in a top loader. Eliminates the need for a white vinegar rinse as it is very low sudsing.

Oddly, I just put a load in using this about 10 minutes before I read this thread. This product cleans very well and goes a lot further than the instructions might have you believe. My wife and I were both commenting on this moments ago and I used it at 1/4 the recommended amount. If I remember correctly it calls for 2 oz. per load. If you were to do this in a HE front load washer it will suds all the way up the glass. I've experimented on how much to use and have settled on 1/2 oz. per load (perhaps 15 - 20 towels), less if it's a small load. The end resulet has been soft towels. From a cost perspective I don't know where you get a product that goes any farther. I can't tell you that it's light years ahead of the competition with respect to it's cleaning ability but is definitely on par with any MF specific soaps I've used. That makes it a pretty good value in my mind. If you haven't already I'd tell you it's worth a try.

I picked up a gallon recently 'sold as a refill for $8' and have been using an oz or so in a bucket of hot water as a pre-soak after dirtying a towel. Works really well. It does suds a bit for me, so I haven't tried it yet with my HE washer. Still using WG for that after rinsing out the pre-soaked towels, but I am going to give the Towel Kleen a try in the machine and see how it does. The cost factor is excellent, as the WG is $50 a gallon (I buy when I see a 20% sale over on the sister site). I haven't seen the gallons available on Autopia, not sure why not.

Good to know, thanks for that. I would have made the mistake of using too much had I not seen this.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I really like these type of dispensers. I had some BF that I used up. It too is a good soap but not quite the same value. Repurposing this container is helpful for me. 3D is a little thicker soap but this still works well.

I have the Micro-Restore container and re-use a lot of containers also. Good to know 3D is a little thicker and will still work in that container as I did plan on re-using the one I have.

Purchased a gallon and I love it. Excellent cleaning ability and the cost is great.

I used about an oz in my washer load and the towels came out super soft.

Yep I use it too. I just washed a little over a dozen of mirco's with polish on them and an ounce was maybe more than enough. I also did another load with maybe 20 towels and same thing. I might try 1/2 ounce next time.

I have some 3D Towel Kleen on the way as we speak. Been using Micro-Restore for years, but after reading all the reviews for Towel Kleen thought I'd give it a try. I'll also be using the Micro-Restore container to measure.
