3d Products

You must be in ths Santa Clarita/Valencia area...........Theres a detail shop in Ventura that sells there stuff. And I would have bought more of it had they showed a little TLC in the marketing arean. The labels were smeared with product when they were being filled at the factory, just a turn off when I was in there. Its been so long since I have sed 3D. I actually gave most of it away recently in favor of trimming the fat away from my supplies......What I have used was decent, nothing to brag about, but if its value and results, then your in business......

They have quite a few stores around here in SoCal. I know there's one near me here in the Cerritos/Norwalk area.

I've purchased some brushes from their store, but didn't buy any of their other products because they had no prices on the items and I didn't feel like asking the clerk for the price of each item. From some of the prices he gave me for the smaller sizes, they don't seem all that cheap. It looks like they cater more to bulk customers/detailers.

They also carried some Mytee hot water extractors, Makita 9227, PC, and other equipment but I would never buy from them considering you can find them online for much cheaper. As a comparison, I got my Makita for $179 shipped from Amazon. I asked the guy how much was the Makita going for and he wanted $249.

I also saw some crappy microfibers laying around in dusty bins. Nothing about their store actually makes me want to go there and shop, but like I said, I don't think they're targeting the average consumer. The same can be said about a lot of other places that don't necessarily cater to consumers but are open to the public, like CarQuest for example.

Hmm thanks guys, well I live in Chula Vista and there's a store near by. I'm thinking of stopping there sometime. THere's also a Car Quest in National City where I look for DuraGloss products. So, anybody have experience with 3D Final Finish (detail spray)?

I went to one of 3D’s seminars at their Santa Ana store. They’re nice folks, genuinely interested in helping their customers succeed.

That said, it’s helpful to keep in mind who their customers are. From the presentation (and especially from the crowd at hand) I got the distinct impression that their primary focus is on the “carwash detailer market and on the guys who are just stepping up from manning the tunnel wash to starting their own detailing biz.

As a.k.a. Patrick mentioned, their chemicals seem OK, but nothing to write home about. Most of their tools are the same ones you see at most any carwash detailing supplier. They do have some interesting sandpaper products and they carry Edge pads.
