I have been a long time lurker but never posted. Thought I would start sharing some of my work :) This car came to me as a member of another forum I am on who was looking for a detail. He was looking to bring his paint back to life, and I told him I would b glad to help.

What did you use? Especially on the exhaust tips.

For the correction work, i used:

-D300 on a MF pad (which works down quite nicely I should add)

-205 on a white pad

-85d on a black pad (for that final jewel)

-Sealed with BFWD.



As far as the exhaust, i found that SOS pad (yes the same synthetic not wool ones in the kitchen lol), mixed with some Bar Keepers friend, work great on exhaust tips! The combo has the cutting power of wool BUT dont really stuff the finish. That make polishing it out to a bright shine nice and easy! :clap:
