303 vs PB's???

Hey everyone,
Im about to buy some PB's trim restore for the trim on my TSX and my dads Infiniti. I already have some 303 on the way with some other stuff I already ordered (should be here tomorrow). Can I use the 303 on outside door trim etc? Or should I just get the PB's for that, and leave the 303 for my dash etc?

Also, can the PB's trim restore and the 303 basically be used for the same stuff inside the car? Like the dash and back of seats (not leather) etc???? I basically want to know if I am duplicating products here.

Thanks,
Steve

303 has a great reputation, is a strong protectant with great UV protection. If you already bought it, give it a try and see how you like it. Everybody has their own look and feel they are after. It might fit the bill for you without spending any extra money.

Currently I use TR on exterior and "contact" areas inside. I found that the 303 (like many other products) wipes off easily on interior panels where you arm contacts (arm rest, door panel, etc). For me TR lasts longer there. I also use Natrual Look (great smell, biocide to inhibit mold/mildew and slight cleaning properties) on all vinyls and inside air vents, and the new PB Leather Conditioner on leather surfaces. Another thing that made me switch away from 303, is the awful chemical smell. For the look I like, these all seem to work well together, last a long time, and the finish on all the surfaces looks consistant to me.

I have found the TR works much much better than 303 for any exterior textured plastic. The appearance is just what I like, its more of a satiny sheen, and it holds it's look better with moisture when I tried both. When applied properly, I find no streaking or run off problems after a rain. The 303 always disappeared but left streaks on the paint.

Not the greatest pic, but the rear louvers have TR on them. The 303 didnt work at all on this type of texture.

TR even looks great on the aluminum shaker on my Mach.

303 is the only plastic/vinyl trim I use at this time and it does a great job on the interior and on tires.
I don't happen to use it on any exterior trim, but I do remember reading several posts about 303 washing off or streaking when it is rained on.
You might want to try it on a small area first.
303 does recommend buffing it thoroughly after application to prevent the streaking, but some have reported the streaking even after buffing it thoroughly.

Same here as Charles. In addition to the interior I also use 303 on the rubber and plastic surfaces under the hood. For a vehicle with a lot of exterior plastic trim I would use AIO. There are no issues at all with streaking or being washed away. I've topped such trim wiht Klasse SG and found sealants in general work for this application. All the hard plastic exterior window trim on my Audi is protected with AIO topped with Wolfgang.

I was under the impression that 303 and Natrual Look where sort of the same product? or used in the same ways....I use TR all the time on door rubbers, plastic trim on the outside...but from what I have gathered here TR and 303 where not comparable products....am I wrong?

Thanks for all the responses guys. Hmmmmmmmmmm, I think I will just get some TR like I had been planning on doing and leave the 303 for the interior stuff I ordered it for.

I didnt know you could use AIO on exterior trim. I will have to keep that in mind. Wont be able to try that for a while though cause I have a bunch of 4* stuff on the way.

Thanks guys,
Steve
