303 smell??????????

Why does my 303 smell like body odor?...After an nice apllication in my Volvo.........it takes like 2-3 days before the stench is out...anyone else have this issue??????????...thanks
 
I always find comments about 303's odor odd, as I don't think it smells like much of anything . . . I mean, you can get a whiff if you stick your nose on top of the bottle, but I never notice the odor when I'm applying it. :nixweiss



My sniffer must be out of warranty . . .

Yea, I noticed the same thing and it's the primary reason I went back to Meguiar's No. 40. I don't think the 303 was superior to the No. 40 anyway - I don't know why I even bothered trying it.



What 303 I have left over is strictly for the outside of the cars and never again on the interior.
 
I've never really noticed it either Tort. I apply it, wipe it off, and I don't smell anything afterwards. :nixweiss
 
I haven't used it much yet, but didn't notice any smell, and even more impressive was that my wife didn't notice a smell either.
 
I always liked it because it smelled neutral and wasn’t perfumed like so many products are. I remember hearing some people complaining about Klasse sealant glaze as well. Maybe some kind of mildew was introduced or they were just funky batches?

You can smell it if you smell the bottle or the rag but I have never had a problem with the smell in my vehicle. I usually apply it, let it sit, and buff it off so maybe that helps with the smell... Plus I always drive with my windows down.
 
I don't think 303 smells like BO at all, just kinda... plastic-like. Not anything I'd call offensive. My EO leather cleaner/conditioner sure stinks though, kind of funky and mildly acrid. After THAT I let it air out.
 
I don't smell it unless I open the bottle and sniff it. I think it will smell more if the dash board is hot or in the sun when the 303 is applied.
 
It smells like old gym socks to me.... I don't use it in the interior any more because of this. I went back to Pinnacle.

It does smell like gym socks but I find that its smell doesn't stink up the entire interior, if it did that would really stink...no pun intended.
 
I find it has a slighty sour smell but that's not going to keep me from using it. Anyway just another reason to drive with the top down... :wavey
