3 four ounce samples of Un-released Poorboy's Products

Is this leather treatment somehow close to the powers of Leatherique? And any new fresh scent?

I have the leather stuff and I'm pushing on Steve to realease this product.....Goes a long way.....after use I would buff to speard even and you could top that with NL for a greater sheen if you like.....I have black leather so I leave as is.

Ditto that! I've been using it since early summer and love it! It's excellent on door/trunk/hood seals too.

It made me shelf my Leathermasters cleaner/conditioner -which I like A LOT!

Come on Steve, release it already!

I have no room in my warehouse for anymore new products and I might be forced out and have to find a new place, so no new stuff that I might have to move

Steve, I'll gladly come (And drag everyone I can from the Island) to help you move anytime you need it...
Especially if it means Liquid Nattys Blue someday....:drool

Hey Steve!

Any arrival time on the interior scents?? The second bottle I received (brownish/red color) smells AWESOME!!! I've been using it on client's vehicles everyday and the majority of them have said it smelled excellent as well (I had been using Meg's #23 prior to this).

I think that one is Vanilla..I like that too, but not sure if scents will ever be worth producing ... :whistling

Ok so I have some reviews on the samples.

Before we Start ill take a Gallon of the Car Wash / Wax and the Leather cleaner.   --> Steve!

Ok fresh car. I took my moms 1969 Mercedes convertible out of the garage. Poor thing has not been washes in 12-13 years. It’s been in the garage with a cover on it. I’m also sure it’s never seen a coat of wax; it was repainted and put in the garage.

Car Wash w/ Wax
Hosed it off, the dust was gone and I was working with a clean slate. I used the regular SSS wash on the hood. Ok now I have my reference. Now used the Car Wash w/ wax I was given. There was a noticeable difference in the paint. It looked like it had been gone over with a QD, but not as wet or glossy. Just very very nice. I did the trunk in SSS to compare the two again. I want some of this Car Soap w/ wax. On the lubricant aspect I found the Car Wash w/wax to be better. I used less of it and it had more lubricant the SSS. On the Suds end I found them similar. The bubbles they produced were slightly different, very hard to describe.

Going to compare it to the Zaino Wash next!

Leather Cleaner & Conditioner
Leather cleaner is also great. If Steve releases it, it will most likely replace my Zaino leather conditioner. Its not at glossy as Z, i find it more natural. Smell is very similar but I find Poorboys to not have as strong of a chemical smell. Sign me up for a bottle of this stuff.

Polish w/ Sealant
The Polish with sealant I was a little confused about and still am. I did half the hood with the Polish with sealant and the other half with AIO. I figured it was suppose to be a paint cleaner/polish. Compared to AIO overall I like AIO better. Very similar look, but AIO felt better on the paint and just looked a little better. The AIO was a little wetter and deeper looking but the Polish w/sealant had the clarity aspect. The Polish w/ sealant was so so so easy to remove though, but not that easy to apply. It’s to thick in my opinion, and i would not want to use it in sunlight.

Cleaning Ability
On the convertible top there is a vinyl type window in the back. I had to clean off the oxidation/stains from sitting. I tried the AIO and the Polish with sealant here. Found the AIO considerably more effective. Only way i could compare its cleaning ability.

Im not even sure if this is the correct product to compare it to. I have no idea the real reason Steve created this product and what type of product it would be comparable too. If anyone has any ideas please chime in.

Thanks Chris

Chris:
Thanks for the reviews on the three new products. Hopefully Steve can give us a little more info on the Polish w/ Sealant, I know i'm very anxious to hear more about it. I'm sure all these products are still in the testing phase so Steve and the chemist can still tweak things up a bit before production.

I know this late but.....

Car wash + Wax:
Works great IMHO, i tried it on a brand new unprepped car (my moms new 2005 Jeep, black metallic) and it left the surface pretty slick and actually gave it a kinda QD'd look. I then tried it on my Blue '01 Cobra, with 4 x FMJ, 2x TS, 2x Souveran, 1x Blue Nattys. It brought back the surface slickness and the beading was insane. It looked like I just put a coat of Nattys on, it seemed to bring back the look of the wax since it hadnt waxed in a month or so and hadnt been washed in 2 weeks. I used 1oz each time in a 5 gallon bucket and plent of suds the whole time. It was slick gliding on the paint. The smell was pleasant also.
5/5 PLEASE make more Poorboy :D :)

Polish + Sealant
I tried this on the Jeeps unprepped windows, and it made them nice and slick. It also made the windows almost look like paint that has been prepped, deep and very reflective.
I will try it on the paint when i finish up on the jeep :D
The smell was sick!

I will post back with the Leather Cleaner + Condtioner :punk:

I would REALLY love to try out the car wash with soap. I LOVE my SSS, but with wax in it, OooO!

Sadly I didn't order enough when I did my order that one day.

I had a sample of the leather product also and I loved it! The only thing I would like is to have it in a sprayable formulation instead of the thick gel that needs to be applied with a sponge.

I tried some PwS this weekend. -Pretty nice stuff! Don't apply this if you're hungry!

-color: Orange. Guess what it smells like :)

-Consistency: Similar to SSR1.

-Applications: I tried applying via rotary, but got a lot of sling. I ended up using the cyclo with a polishing pad (misted with S&G). It wipes off really easy. PwS added a noticeable gloss to the finish and felt slick. I applied it as a stand alone to a mini van roof that is exposed to the weather 24 x 7. I'll check it in a month or so for durability. The roof hasn't ever been touched, and PwS cleaned the paint pretty well IMO.

I think PwS would be a good choice for a 1 or 2 step detail. I also applied it on a panel that was polished out with SSR2.5, and it had even more gloss!
