2nd annual MINI owners event (shiny MINIs!!)... (18 pics...hang in there dialup!)

just an annual event put on by our local dealer to get all the AZ mini owners out and park on their race track and eat, mingle....and giveaway awards for the best minis....good stuff! it was just seriously bright out with the sun directly above...makes it hard for pics sometimes.

winner's of the people's choice awards. a cooper S on the left (hideous, but i give him credit for going all out - good for him!)....my friend candace's cooper in the middle, and my other friend pat's classic on the right! kinda cool that 2 of my friends won out of 3 awards.



bad pic, would have loved to get them all without anyone around...

this united auto dealer cost $125 million. 15 brands....a race track, off road course, racing museum, starbucks, restuarnt, detailing shop on site to detail all cars serviced, and a hertz for all rentals. the largest BMW showroom on the planet......and the largest MINI dealer in the US. it's quite crazy.

Sweeeeet. That looks like a blast. I'd like to see a big meet like that sometime for Integra owners, but I guess they don't have the "cult" following of the Mini.
