I tried to search but it wont let me search for "#26" because its too short. I still have about 3/4 bottle of my #26 and was wanting to get the S100 because of the reviews on this board. Whats the proper way to apply both waxes? 1, 2, or 3 coats of #26. How long to wait before another coat? I wouldnt mind waxing my car once a month so thats why I chose S100. Thanks.

Also, ive been seeing P21S GEPC and dont know what that is. I looked at the acronyms page but its not listed. Can someone tell me what that is?

Yes, #26 is notoriously hard to search for. I used words like "yellow" and "hi-tech" and sometimes just "meguiar's wax". This definitely won't get you everything but it's better than nothing. (2003Accord take note :D) Sometimes you just have to sift through a huge pile of threads though....

Anyway, back on topic, I use #26 Hi-Tech paste with S100 on my car as a topper. I had read advice by JasonC8301 (I think) that recommended 1 week between #26 coats, BUT whether waxes have a "cure time" or not is still up for debate. Some say layer away all in 1 session, some say wait a couple days. Some people also say that subsequent wax coats don't add more wax at all, just oils. Whatever the truth is, I've actually been alternating the two waxes. After every wash or every other wash I'd throw on a coat of either wax. I honestly can't say the shine keeps getting better (I consider myself a poor judge of subjective shine), but I'm very happy with how wet my car looks (for a silver car).

Another thread had mentioned P21S says its wax did not layer, which prompted my alternating S100 and #26. The idea is to use the #26 for the more durable wax and the S100 for gloss. Kind of a "combined arms" idea. :)

GEPC is P21S's Gloss Enhancing Paint Cleanser. Gentle, highly rated by people here, and it seems to have some properties of a glaze as well.

I’m running with 1 layer of #26 and topped with 4 layers of S100. The S100 layers where applied one to two days apart so it took like a week to get it all on. I think the layers improve the depth of the reflective shine on my car. Here is a smaller picture of the one I used for the photo contest of a reflection of the houses across the street from the hood of my 95 Honda Accord, Sage Green in color (it’s a light silver/blue-green metallic).

I see that it all depends on the person. After I get my S100, im going to split my hood in 3 or 4 different sections. Each one for #26, S100, #26+S100, and different layers on top of eachother.

I am a Klasse user and its fine to use a topper but I do not understand the reason for Switching #26 and s100. I have been gone so maybe I missed a thread. Whats up?

The reason a lot of people on here use S100/P21S is because of its shine. Although its good, it doesnt last long. Thats why I want to use #26 as a base and S100 as a topper.
