SO, Sizzle Chest , this is a 718 Porsche Spyder RS on the same platform as the Boxster and Cayman???
So much for my Porsche-o-phile knowledge!

Love, love, love the color. So, the paint-to-sample is a customized hue by the buyer/owner and the color name of Shark Blue is Porsche's designation?? Can a future Porsche buyer/owner order this identical color then from the Porsche factory on whatever Porsche model they are ordering new? through a dealer?
Just curious....

Do you use the same manufacturer and type of foam pads (IE, one type for correcting and another type for polishing) with the Hurcule's buffer on ALL Porsches, and if so, who is the manufacturer and foam pad types??
There wwas nothing listed on the products for the fabric top. Did you do anything special for that?

AND, only a Captain Obvious observation:
As I looked through the pics, there is one of the interior looking through the steering wheel from the driver's seat at the instrument panel gauges, and through opening between the top of the steering wheel underside and the dash, I can see a partial view of poster straight ahead hanging on the wall of your shop. Funny, but it has the darker hue blue color of the sky that seems similar to that of this Porsche paint AND the bottom yellow stripe of the German insignia on that poster also seems similar to the yellow accent colors (like the seat belts and brake calipers) on this Porsche. Coincidence or the owner's (and Porsche's) inspiration for the colors..... you decide!

Oh yes, excellent detailing of this Porsche Spyder RS. A very unique Porsche that deserves nothing but the best and I am sure the owner is more than thrilled with how it now looks.

Thanks Lonnie! Yes, this is a Boxster, however it is their RS version of it, similar to the GT4RS (Cayman).

Yes, Porsche offers PTS colors and PTS+ colors for the buyer to purchase/choose from. PTS starts at around $10K-30K, whereas PTS+ can go up to $100K +. And yes, others can choose the same color.

I use Lake Country (LC) pads. Sorry for omitting that from my list. Nothing done on the top as this thing only as 200 miles on it maybe and the top was clean and beading like a champ. I did some minor cleaning and lint rolling on it.

Poster is the logo from a Porsche Club, hence some of the colors you see!

He just picked it up and was very happy with the results! (so glossy!)

Sorry to ask again Sizzle Chest, but which exact LC foam pads do you used on Porsches, IE, what foam type and color for correcting and polishing.
I ask because LC makes so many different types/series and foam colors(density and softness) that I could get an idea from your extensive correcting and polishing of Porsche paints what works best with the Griot Garage's " twin" correcting cream and polishing cream.
Not that this would translate or apply to other German car manufacturers, but it is kinda of a starting point.
