I use both. It depends on the trim. the Jax Wax Black Trim has a black dye.

I like Clarity... easy and no streaks.
Note: When doing windows, I do the inside left to right and the outside up and down.

Foam. A little trick...
I do the inside left and right...I do the outside up and down.
That way (if there are any streaks) I can tell which side they are on.
