I had known Ron for a few years and he was always kind, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. He was a huge asset to the detailing community.
I had the honor and privilege of going to Ron`s new home on a "road trip" with a few folks including Mike Phillips, to detail Rons`s white Vette.

When I was done the Vette had a brilliant shine and a bright sparkle that I was proud of. Ron, you are missed. This one`s for you. I hope you like it.

Thank you for the post of this "Great White" C8. Your`s and Gearhead`s reminiscences of Ronhk bring mixed emotions to myself. Though I never met him face-to-face as you have, he did have a detailing aire about him that is both highly respected (and admired by myself) and sometimes affable (fun-loving, if you will) all at the same time.
I do wonder what he would have thought of this new offering from Chevrolet. Personally, as I have told BudgetPlan1 after his post of a photo expose of a car show at Esoteric Detail, I think it is what the Corvette should have been many years ago; a true mid-engine sports car. It has eschewed long-held traditional design and styling characteristics to look more like a 21st century super car. But still, the real test is if past Corvette owners will buy this car design and/or if a new generation of sports car enthusiasts will become customers.

No question about it, Ron would have the new car. hehe...Ron. There`s a Vette at the parking lot of where I work. Because of that, Ron is on my mind on a regular basis. Miss the guy.

Merlin....great work as always. I can`t picture myself ever saying, "Merlin, that`s pretty good" seeing that your work is exceptional.

Looking at the video, I can`t help but think it looks almost as good as that of my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Then I wake up with the dog barking and realize....it`s just a dream. My Jeep`s paint still being corrected. D`OH.
