This killer Mustang was just delivered to a good client of mine the other day. It came directly to me after sitting in their staging area waiting for it to get shipped to his dealer. It is a bad azz machine! Sounds great! Looks great! Has fantastic reviews/specs/performance. I am digging it!

Overall it was in very good shape. Some minor swirls, marring and a few very small scuffs. A little correction/gloss enhancement prior to it getting coated was on order.
This vehicle had sat at the shipping terminal for weeks…Ford made an error on the stripe color, they are supposed to be Kona Blue, however these are a different color due to their vinyl supplier. They were going to wait to get the proper color stripes, but my client told them to ship it anyway…so he now has a one off color combination! Pretty cool!

I don’t know what happened to it while it sat, but it looks like it sat in New Orleans during TS Barry! Tons of dirt, mud, etc in the wheel wells, engine compartment, etc. I was very surprised. It also had a load of ferrous contamination.

Awesome work!!!

Super slick car.

At least they communicated with the customer what the hold up was. When I ordered my Stingray back in 2013, I thought it would never come in, turns out once they started shipping, mine was held at their testing facility for 3 weeks. Could be where all the dirty and iron contamination came from as well.

Unbelievable amount of contamination on that vehicle. Excellent transformation and work of art sir. Thank you for sharing.

Scott, very cool car. Looks great after a little TLC. It`s a shame the car is delivered with so much obvious damage to new paint :(

^^^Thanks Tom. Yes, I don`t know where the majority of the swirls came from, I would imagine dealer prep. The contamination would be from sitting in the yard in Michigan to the transport to FL. It`s taken care of now!

Great work on the GT350. Do you you wipe the car with the clay towel when the iron remover is still doing its thing or are they two separate cleaning processes?? I am amazed at how much iron fallout was on this car according to the purple streaks EVERYWHERE in the photos.

I noticed your saying that the striping is a different color than the true OEM Kona Blue. To me it looks a little darker than what it should be, where the Kona Blue is more "royal blue" in color hue. I am sure only purist or concourse judge will be able to tell.

Thanks Lonnie. No, they are 2 separate processes. It did accumulate quite a bit, but it sat in Ford`s yard for some time waiting for the stripes to be replaced.

Yes, indeed! Good eye! They are a little darker than what Kona Blue is.
